Kelly Reichardt (2013)
The fifth feature of Kelly Reichardt's thus-far airtight career is a refreshingly complex and often quite thrilling take on the world of hard-line environmentalism, which follows the build-up and aftermath of a plot to blow up one of Oregon's hydroelectric dams. The characters in Reichardt's films are often overshadowed, both socially and spiritually, by the political rumblings which surround them; with Night Moves that dwarfing feeling is quite literally so.
